Luke 9:23 tells us that we are to deny ourselves to live for Jesus daily. This includes denying ourselves for His cause and not our own. God's cause is to see everyone come to Jesus and be saved (John 3:16). Therefore, as believers, we must take every opportunity to invite others to the "table" of God https://www.openbible.info/topics/banquet_table_with_god.
Whenever we come across people that we don’t know, God will give us opportunities to share His name and Gospel with others. In those moments, we must not ignore the call. Instead, we must take action.
As well, we can “be the Gospel” on our jobs or wherever our feet take us. No, we don’t need a degree. We don’t need a certificate or license.
To be “the Gospel” we simply need a relationship with Jesus and a testimony of what He has done to change our lives. With our testimony, we can bring others to the table! We can help others hear the Truth and meet Christ for themselves.
Don’t be like others who say, “They can read for themselves.” “Nobody told me.” Don’t make those excuses like this. For a while, I did, and I don’t want that to be your story.
Instead, if you are not already, start talking more to strangers about Jesus. Start doing it every time that God puts it on your heart, instead of ignoring that tug on your heart! Start by praying and asking God to give you more ways to reach people.
Start by taking this personally and not wanting the world to just hear messages from “the culture”. No. The “culture” needs to hear more from you about Jesus and His love for them!
After all, God never said to only tell people we know about Him. He told me, and you, to tell ALL NATIONS. Thanks to technology, we have no excuse. We are in contact with millions of people all day long.
However, don’t do it because I am posting this. Do it because you love Jesus and thank Him for saving you. Do it because it is on your heart, and you agree with what I am saying. In the meantime, I will ask my question again. “Who are you bringing to the table?”
