Happy Saturday! I wanted to share a word of encouragement with you! Here it is: It is so important to build relationships with others who are not like you. Meaning, those who don’t look like you or are not of your same race.

It could be as simple as introducing yourself to people at church, work, next door, or wherever you are. I know it isn’t always easy. Some people don’t want you to speak to them, and others will give you some crazy looks.

Some people won’t speak when spoken to, but that is in every race! Besides, people not speaking has happened to me plenty of times. I am a native of Mid-South America. It’s tough, but you just have to keep putting yourself out there.

“You are the light of the world. A city lying on a hill is unable to be hidden.”

Matthew 5:14

“All things therefore, as many as you might desire that men should do to you, so also you do to them, for this is the law and the prophets.”

Matthew 7:12
