In these times, a lot of things are happening that can’t be comprehended by the human mind. Many things seem to be spinning out of control in our world. Brand new tragedies hit us with each coming day!

This reality seems scary for some, and others are grappling with fear and anxiety! Yet, it is in these times that we must continue to count our blessings, continue to live life with great expectation from God, and help others to do the same. As it has been said before, we are all “in this” together.

“…the One comforting us in all our tribulation, for us to be able to comfort those in every tribulation through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

2 Corinthians 1:4

In closing, while it seems like evil is always winning, it is important to not take on this attitude. I am a believer in Jesus Christ. I can only speak for myself, but I will trust Him and His Word! In the days to come, I encourage you to look to Jesus and the Bible for comfort and for consolation.

Lastly, 1 John 4:4 reminds us that God is greater and stronger than anything that comes against us. That includes natural disasters, civil unrest, and all sickness and diseases! In every situation, to God be the glory!

God bless you,

K
