Sometimes, where God leads us is a unfamiliar place. It can be uncomfortable and scary. Fear can often prevent us from going some of the places that God desires to lead us.

However, when God is leading us to a place that is unknown, the only way to trust Him is to truly know Him. We have to have a deeply rooted relationship with Christ, in order to follow Him completely. When we trust Him completely, the places that He asks us to go to won’t seem so scary.

In fact, we will be willing to go because we know that He will be right there with us. Having this certainty only comes by experience in trusting God. Therefore, in order to trust God, we have to take our first steps of faith.

But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage. I am here!”

Matthew 14:27

Once we have taken the first leap, we will see that there is no limit to the places and the things that God desires to show us! Instead, our only limit will always be us in our hesitations. Otherwise, by having faith in God and where He is leading us, we will see the world start to open up for us.

As God promises in His Word, He will open many doors and windows for us. Even when men decide to close doors in our faces, God will open that door back up or create another one! This is the kind of God Who is available to you, today.

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for: it is the evidence of things we cannot see.”

Hebrews 11:1

Be blessed,
