Don’t ever let someone tell you God doesn’t care. Actually, God is desiring to walk with us through every day of our lives. When we give our lives over to Him, God gives His unending love to us. That love is Jesus. That love is the Holy Spirit.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”John 14: 6
“That they may all be one, as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.”John 17:21
In unison, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are available to lead and guide us. The day we ask them to do so, we will witness our lives open up and become a beautiful thing. How do I know? Like everything else I know about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, I am learning from experience.
This is how I know that they are awesome, unfailing, and relentless, when it comes to loving us! What I also know about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is that they each have their own special role in our lives. For instance, Father God loves us so much that He is willing to be our provider, healer, and everything we need (Psalm 54:4).
Through Jesus, we have access to all that God desires to do for us (John 14:10). Amazing, right? Now, imagine Jesus telling His Father to release His love and favor over us.
This is exactly what Jesus did, by going to the cross (Luke 23:34). Guess what? Jesus will do this every day that we abide in Him (John 15:4-5).
Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. John 14:1
Last, but definitely not least, we have the Holy Spirit. We can’t leave the Holy Spirit out. He is often ignored but always on the move for us. He partners with the Father and the Son, on our behalf.
For instance, the Spirit reminds us to listen to Jesus and to follow after His heart (Mark 4:23). Along with this, the Spirit empowers us to see life through the lens of God, but that’s not all He does. The Holy Spirit enables us to hear God’s voice and to feel the presence of God. Case in point, when we are in trouble, lonely, sick, or afraid, the Holy Spirt is right there to extend God’s comfort and defense.
But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you. John 14:26
As I close, I pray you have been reminded just how much God cares. We are so loved (John 3:16). Go, and tell someone this.
