Keeping The Faith

Have you been wanting to achieve something but have yet to see an opportunity?   Have you been told that your dreams were out of reach?  Well, as long as there is breath in your body, and God is on your side, you will have what is meant to be yours.

As a child of God, you do not have to put limitations on yourself.  You do not have to leave your dreams and aspirations on the back burner.  To the contrary, you can believe that you will write a book, start a business, have a family of your own, or finish that degree. Believe it all, put in the hard work, and watch God move on your behalf.

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”  Mark 9:23

As we seek to please God in our daily lives and walk with Jesus, we will be rewarded with some of the desires of our hearts.  I say some, because God knows best, and He is in control of the outcome.  As our Father, He knows what is best for us and what is not (Jeremiah 29:11).

As a result, the things that are meant for our good and His glory will always come our way (Romans 8:28). For instance, God will allow doors, we thought had closed forever, to open up for us.  As we keep our eyes on God, our faith will lead us to the paths in which we are meant to go.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.  Matthew 6:33

Who knows?  Today could be the day that our faithfulness to God leads to opportunities.  If not today, by faith, it is on the way. As for myself, I am doing my best to not lose sight of what God is going to do for me. Even when life does not turn out exactly the way we want it, God always makes things better than we could ever imagine. As well, His timing is impeccable! Meanwhile, we can submit all of our plans to Him and ask Him to have His way.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  1 Corinthians 2:9
