Still Thriving

Have you ever faced conditions that were unpleasant, yet you were able to bear them?  As hard as it might have been, you survived.  Perhaps, your life may not have been physically bound, but it often felt this way.  Then, all of a sudden, God broke the chains in your life.  As a result, you received what you needed, went where you needed to go, or you accomplished the things that were needful to be done.  Glory to God!

Psalm 23:4

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Even in the midst of all you had been through, you were able to say God is good.  Likewise, you knew that whatever you were going through would be used for God’s glory.  You realized there was a purpose behind it all.

Today, in the face of difficulty, you allow it to become your glory story.  Despite your circumstances, you know that you are free in the Spirit.  You also choose to be free in your mind and in your heart.  Your freedom is in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:18

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Knowing this, you can face the next day and whatever will be before you.  Just as God was with Jesus, on this Earth, He is with you now.  You are never alone.  Never forsaken, and never without hope.  To the outside world, it may appear as if you are defeated.  To the contrary, this is not the case.  Because of your faith in Jesus Christ, you are thriving!
